A year and a couple of days ago I took my shiny new camera down to The Dodder and took a picture of, well, a weir. A year on, I find that old shot a bit dull. These days the abstract catches my eye more.

If sheep are white, what colour is the snow? Winter returned to Ireland this weekend, and while the Kildare plain had thawed, there was still plenty of snow in the hills of Co.Laois

Went out for a spin into the hills today. A fall of snow last night brought back the winter scenes however a rapid thaw gave a real spring feel to the day. Not that this shot shows that.
